In this article I am going to be speaking about an online game called Farmville. Most online games that are free are popular but Farmville is fast becoming the most popular of all. The main reason for its fast growth in popularity is because it is played via Facebook meaning that it’s seen by a lot of people. The idea of the game is to grow a farm and to make money from it. You can sell all the crops and vegetables that you grow and that is how you make money. Obviously this is virtual money that is for the game only, it isn’t real. You need to grow as many crops as you can so that you will have more to sell and therefor make more money. Once you’ve sold your crops you can then spend the money on farm accessories. You can buy various homes and barns for your farm. You can also buy things like tractors and other forms of agricultural vehicles. As you progress through the game your level increases. The highest player level you can achieve is 70, but it takes a lot of work and effort to get that high. A large part of the game is making friends with other people, they’re then known as your neighbours. It is worth spending the time to get as many neighbours as possible because they can help you increase your player level. To higher your level you need to work on and maintain your farm so that you can sell and harvest your crops. But you can also gain experience points (which go towards increasing your level) by working on other peoples farms. If you have a lot of neighbours you will be able to work on all their farms meaning that your level will go up quickly. Another positive outcome to working on other peoples farms is that their is a high probability that you will then be recommended to many other players. Once this has happened you will have a large network of neighbours and a lot of them will come and work on your farm. This will improve your farm on autopilot as long as the effort goes into getting a quality network of neighbours in the first place. After reading a really helpful farmville guide I have been able to learn a lot about the game. and more importantly figure out what works and what doesn’t.
